A: Not very accepting. I have Muslim friends who would not allow their daughter marry anyone outside their faith. But, this is true with many religions. I know with Christianity, we are not to be unevenly yoked with a non-believer.

I know that these two clans separated when trying to decide over who should be Muhammad's successor for his teachings of the religion, but I am not sure on their recent history, and their differences in beliefs.
So what has changed lately between these two clans recently?
A: I don't know all the differences, but it's a safe bet that there are so many they can't all be listed here. But you would have to include Sunni, Shiite and the Muslims of Iran, because they are different also. I can't remember if it's the Sunni or Shiite branch, but they have many differences from other Muslim countries. Iran has a shrine to Mary, Mother of Jesus and other customs that the Saudis hate.

I've always been wondering what i can and can't do before marriage. Am i only allowed to kiss and hug before marriage if i'm a muslim? Can i do anything else (give or recieve).
A: Sex is considered sexual intercourse; there is nothing different about this concept in Islam.
No; kissing and hugging is haram in Islam because it leads to other things such as sex. Adultery is a very big sin.

A: Belief in One God. Associating no partners to Him, He has no parents nor son. Jesus is His prophet and not son. Believing in all the previous prophets; Abraham, Isaac, Ishmael, Jesus, Muhammad (pbuh).
God's name is Allah in Arabic. In Aramaic (Jesus' language) God is called Elohim.
In Islam, babies are born pure/innocent, there is no original sin. No one's sins are transferred to anyone else, and no one can wash anybody else's sin. Every one will be judged based on their own actions on the Judgement Day.
In Islam, we believe that Judaism was the first religion that God revealed to humans. But jews corrupted it, then Allah revealed Christianity. But Christians too corrupted it, by introducing new things like Trinity and Original Sin etc. Finally Allah revealed Islam and promised that no one would be able to corrupt it.

The man will not convert to Islam. Is a marriage like this common? Can anyone tell me the parents view point, do they disown their daughter is she goes ahead. What are the consequences for the girl?
A: Not allowed in Islam. In most muslim countries the court will not even accept to perform the marriage. If they get married she is considered to be doing fornication as the marriage is not valid. Most families will disown their daughter.

It seems to me a lot of the current chaos in the world has been as a result of people who follow the Muslim faith, be it extreme fundamentalist or whatever. From their actions, they show they are following the Devil rather than God and seem they would be better off believing in Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny at least no one would get hurt.
A: If there is a WWIII within the next twenty years, I 100% believe 'extremist' Muslims in some way would start it. Communists are mostly only a threat to their *own* people, but Muslims tend to take over countries and enforce their own religion... or blow things up.

A: The first two answers are SO incorrect. THey lack knowledge. Muslims be live that Jesus was only a prophet, along with Mohammad, adam, moses. We be live that Jesus preached the same thing we do, that there is only 1 god. He himself did not be live he was god. Muslims be live that Mary having him was a miracle send by god (allah).

A: I do not think it teaches Peace for all. It advocates the use of force and terror for the cause of religion. And that makes it the wrong faith. As some one who does not practise the religion, it might sound harsh and judgemental about that religion, which i am loath to do, it is a fact that jihad gives them a moral ground to justify such acts of terror and reprisal against the imaginary acts of injustice. If there is a single instance of justification in its theology for resorting to reprisal killings, such a faith is an evil faith. For the sake of humanity and for God, it needs either correction or extinction.

A: Sin is a sin. If you believe having sex before marriage is a sin then why does it matter how big of a sin it is. Would it make a difference?
People who are going to get indulge in smoking weed or doing other things are making a choice. Religion is not to be blamed. It is the person making that decision.
