Q: What are some Muslim Prayer Customs?
I work for an amusement park, and we have tourists from around the world. I would like to educate my team members is muslim prayer customs, so that if a family is looking for a place to pray we can help in accommodating them. Also so we have a better understanding of our guests needs? Any Advice or websites I could go to for this?
A: Basically they just need a clean area in which they can kneel.
They need to wash their hands and feet.
Heres a website that has info about Islam:

A: I suggest you speak to the airline directly. You shouldn't rely on answers for accuracy on this, you should go direct to the horses mouth.
Q: Have any of you ever heard the muslim call to prayer?
I was just in Israel/Palestine last week. The day I arrived all hell broke loose. In the mornings I heard the Muslim call to prayer echo throughout the whole land and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. I am not musliml, but i definitely have more respect for their culture now. Have any of you ever heard the muslim call to prayer?
A: Thank you for viewing my religion in a different way.
There are so many people who think islam is terrorism. When about 99% of muslims are peaceful.
Q: Muslim prayer - when shall we ask Allah about our own wishes?
Is it correct to ask after prayer (after we finish and say - As-Salam aleykom warahmatullahi) ?
A: Yes, it is allowed to ask Allah during or right after finishing the salah.
In fact, Allah(swt), says that He will help people who have patience and seek His help after the obligatory salah.
And also its compulsory for a muslim to do dua and ask Allah his wishes. Also the dua which u ask, will benefit u, here and in the hereafter. Prophet(s.a.w) said that Allah is ashamed to leave the hand which is raised for dua empty.
So continue asking dua.... Salaam.
Q: What are the words to the Muslim prayer?
A: are you talking about the Salaah? The one they do 5 x's a day?
Allaabu Akbar (four times - "Allah is Most Great").
Ash'hadu an laa ilaaha illallaah (twice - "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah").
Ash'hadu anna Muhammadar-rasulullaah (twice - "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah").
Haya 'alas-salaah (twice - "Come to prayer").
Ilaya 'alal falaah (twice - "Come to the good;').
Allaaku Akbar (twice - "Allah is Most Great").
Laa ilaaha illallaah (once - "There is no god but Allah"
Q: Should American businesses adjust break times to accommodate Muslim prayer times?
OMAHA — Meatpacking plant officials accused of discriminating against dozens of Somali Muslim workers have offered to tweak break times to help accommodate the workers’ prayer demands.
http://www.jihadwatch.org/dhimmiwatch/
A: No, if a Muslim wants to work in a business, he or she should be prepared to work, not skip out to pray, especially not five times a day. If the Muslim really wants to pray he/she should move to the middle east or some other 3rd world country that would accommodate their beliefs.
Q: Have you ever heard the Muslim call to prayer?
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=knu-HYHA0wM&NR=1
This is just to know if anyone may have heard this whilst on holidays in muslim countries:)
This is the call to prayer Muslims Do before prayers:)
Or generaly anywere.
3 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?
45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.
46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
__
When he says father, it means protector, someone greater in this case God, we believe this.
Jesus is the one who prophesised Muhammed PBUH or atleast God told him.
We love Jesus peace be on him , we only accuse the out of context or made uo polythistic beleifs he didn't teach
peace be on you:)
A: what a dumb religion..
Q: Elections: Did Obama really say the call to Muslim prayer..prettiest ..on earth, or was it a clumsy mis-speak?
On February 27th, speaking to Kristof of The New York Times, Barack Hussein Obama said the Muslim call to prayer is "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset."
Said or not?
A: I would ask him to rank the top 10 prettiest sounds at sunset on Earth. If Easter Sunrise service sounds are not ahead of the other one, then watch out!
But I would argue that the Marine Corps Band playing the Star Spangled Banner at the Sunset Parade also ranks ahead. I wonder if Barack Hussein Obama would put his hand on his heart and wear his American Flag lapel pin?
Q: I have bought Muslim prayer books in bulk. What should I do with them?
I already have memorized my prayers and so many Muslim converts don't know how to pray in arabic
A: MashaAllah.
You can always donate them to a Islamic Center or to your Local Mosque and donate them to their library.
I have a few new shahadas under my belt up here. If you wish, you can send a few up this way and i can make sure they are put to good use by some very eager learners insahAllah. :)
i can be emailed
Q: Who is paying for these Muslim prayer rooms and foot baths to be installed in colleges and how many are there.
A: Who pays for everything> The tax payers> Look at all the illegals get for free>
Q: Publicly traded US corporation alters work schedules to accomadate Muslim prayer times. Is this a good thing?
for our country? (see link) http://www.forbes.com/feeds/ap/2007/08/23/ap4050263.html
A: I think they should just allow the muslims to take time off to pray their prayers if they must... but then they should deduct income too.... it's their right to pray when they need to, but its also company time... take a later/earlier lunch if they have to...
i don't see why other people should care just because the whole world hates muslims right now.. it's just prayer.. i worked at a "christian" company for many years and they constantly had "prayer" sessions in the conference room. I was NEVER offended even though I have no religion, because I RESPECT their right to do what they will... however I do not respect people who bring religion into every conversation... Some people don't want to be talked down to like that... Holier-than-thou attitudes stink.

Q: Why is a woman with ties to the terrorist, "Muslim Brotherhood " offering a prayer at Obama's inauguration?
The US based Muslim Brotherhood, in it's own words, is waging "a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”
A: Because this is how it going to be from now on. There is nothing you can do about it except whine and cry. Still bitter about getting your a$$ whopped in the election? You guys lost (haha) if you dont want to accept it pack up and leave (we wont miss you). Majority has spoken.....
Q: Why are these objects used during a Muslim Prayer: a rug, the cap (im not sure wats the name) ?
are there any other objects that used during muslim prayer? if there is whats the purpose of using that object.
A: cuz we r suppose to pray on a clean surface so thats why we use a rug. We wear a cap cuz thats what the prophet wore when he prayed. It is NOT mandatory
And as long as the praying area is clean, we dont need a rug either
Q: The Muslim Call to Prayer in Turkish?
Can anyone give me words to the Muslim call to prayer in the Turkish language?
I am particularly interested in the Fajr prayer. The one that is said in the morning.
Yes the Ezan.
A: You mean "Ezan" ? 5 times a day ?
---
Ok, here it is (The first one is Arabic, and the second one is Turkish as you can understand it by the letters):

اشهد ان لا اله الا الله: Tanıklık ederim ki Allah'tan başka ilah yoktur (x2)
اشهد ان محمدا رسول الله: Tanıklık ederim ki Muhammed Allah'ın resulüdür. (x2)
حي على الصلاة: Haydi namaza (x2)
حي على الفلاح: Haydi kurtuluşa (x2)
الصلاة خير من النوم: Namaz uykudan hayırlıdır (x2) (Only in mornings)
الله اكبر: Allah büyüktür (x2)
لا اله الا الله: Allah'tan başka ilah yoktur (x1)
