Q: What is the penalty for apostasy in the Muslim faith?
If someone abandons the Muslim faith what is their punishment under the Sharia Law (which is based on the Koran)?
A: Not just Islam but in all Abrahamic regligions i.e. Christianity, Judaism and Islam, the original penalty of apostacy is death (Deuteronomy 13:6-9)
However it is not necessarily applied in every, Christian, Jewish or Muslim country. Some countries do implement this but most of the countries dont take this seriously like Pakistan, India where there is democracy and United Nation humanity laws are applied.
Q: Are there any earthly goals, no matter how great, for which you would deny your Muslim faith?
I'm curious because they say that Barack Obama is a Muslim, but I don't think he would go out of his way to deny his faith if he was. Would you?
I might add that my opinion of Obama wouldn't change if I found out that he was Muslim, I would still have voted for him.

Q: Is it true that the Christian faith was created before the Muslim faith?
So does it go, Jewish faith (Old Testament),then Christian faith (Old and New Testament) and then Muslim faith (Koran).

A: Judaism, the original temple version was canonised in about 700 BCE, so is the oldest of the modern religions, well almost
Buddhism, appeared in the canonised sutras around 150 BCE,
Christianity was canonised around 250CE, and first split in 360 CE
Islam was never Canonised, but split into two versions around 30 AH - 635 CE - around the law books, not the text.
Rabbinical Judaism emerged around 900 CE
Lutheranism - in 1500 CE
and Methodism in 1700 CE

Also, somebody told me that a true Muslim believes you should kill to get into heaven as stated in the Quran.

The prophet himself said that "Kill NOT 1 another, for killing 1 is as if u killed the whole world, and that is amongst the biggest of sins"
100% of Muslims are peaceful because the ones that arent and retaliate for no good reason (islamic reason) then they are not muslim, but they are muslim by name.....
Allah said to the people and the people of the book...be patient, for allah is always with the one who is patient (this also includes being peaceful)

Q: Why are the media giving Obama a free pass when he talks of his "Muslim faith" and makes sexist remarks?
It seems that Obama can make absurd statements without consequence. The media shield him from himself. If McCain had said either, it would have become a major issue, but Obama can say anything and get a free ride and it just doesn't seem fair. Every past candidate would have self destructed had they said the things he is allowed to say.

Would you date someone who was a Muslim?
A: I don't see why not. The only problem is that if anyone tried to put their beliefs on me. I am a Christain, and would not change my beliefs in Jesus Christ for no one. I don't find anything wrong with the faith, it's just the radicals that scare me off.

Islam claims that Mohamed is the promised one Jesus spoke of when the Bible is very clear that it is the Holy Spirit.

A: it is never okay to kill others !! the concept of VESICLE jihad is to defend urself and ur religion in a holy war !! to fight others who fight u !! but not going around blowing urself and killing innocent ppl !! that is not what Islam is all about !! I'm trying to be open minded. But, could you explain the logic or reasoning of killing a woman who is a victim of rape? It's kind of hard to respect a religion that allows this. If it means anything, I'm not an American or from the UK. I don't support the war in Iraq. Although I believe in a supreme being, I haven't been to church in 30 years, except for weddings, wakes, and christenings. Thanks for any information you can give me.

i see a boy sized jinn with a deep voice and a old sharp face wearing "shades"on the end of his nose, sitting on the back of a park bench. other asian youth were sitting properly on the bench seat,as i passed he said loudly all right mate?i responded allright ,the asian lads looked at me and each other and said oh allright as if i asked how they were first,i didn't know them,the jinn laughed as i passed but the lads were unaware and sitting and talking quietly amongst themselves,it was a strange experience to say the least,was this a mischevious jinn and what does it mean by appearing to me i am white and a male .

I wasn't sure it was a mistake on Obama's part to say that because he didn't make the correction but George S sure made it for him.
