Q: How were Jewish people blamed during the Holocaust?
How and what for were the Jewish people blamed for during the
Holocaust?
A: Well it started like this:
Germany was going through a really hard time with their economy. People were loosing jobs, but alot of Jews in Europe were well off and had enough money. So they were blamed.
Then there came Black Death, which was a period of time where tons of Europeans were dying and nobody knew why. (it was because of poor hygene) not as many Jews were dying because they had better hygene and were less prone to get sick.
There was anti-semitism (hate for Jews) long before Hitler. Before Hitler came to power, he was making speeches. He had good charisma skills so it was easy for him to get people to follow him and his ideas. He knew he had to blame Germany's bad times on something, so he blames the Jews, just like people have been doing since the beginning of time.
This is what humans do. When people dehumanize other people and stop seeing them as humans, things get out of hand and genocides like the Holocaust happen, killing millions of innocent people.
(i tried to put that in the simplest way possible, but there's SO much more to it..)
Q: What is the secular Jewish argument in favour of the right of Jewish people to live in the Holy Land?
I can appreciate the argument by religious Jews. It's quite simple. God 'gave' the land of Canaan to the Israelites. End of story!
But what of the Jews that are not religious and don't believe the Bible; Jews that simply honour their kinship and heritage? How do they defend the right of the Jewish people to settle in the Holy Land?
A: The area known as Palestine was actually the country of Israel up until I believe it was the 2nd or 3rd century AD when a Roman Ruler had the country removed from all Maps and renamed Palestine. He scattered the Jews or Israelites over the remainder of the Roman Empire out of fear they would start an uprising. The situation remained mainly unchanged until the early to mid 20th century when the modern country of Israel was reestablished.
Q: Will Jewish people continue with traditional Jewish toilet training methods in the next generation?
I was reading about Judaism and was surprised to learn that Jews don't toilet train their children; they just wait until the kids develop control naturally. This means that Jewish children spend most of the first decade of their lives in diapers. My question is for Jewish people here: Do you plan to do the same with your children or is this a tradition that will be left in the dust?
A: Sigh- and your source for that is? Sorry- but what you heard is absolute rubbish.
Hmm, then again- maybe if we knew your source we could all see where such rubbish is being promulgated!
Q: Do Jewish people want to set up a second Zionist state, maybe in America?
I'm confused: some people say that Jews just want to control all of the "promised land," so they'll pretty much leave us all alone, except for the poor Palestinians, of course. But then there's others who say that Jewish people want the whole world, not just the promised land. Who's right? Is there a Jewish person who can answer this for me? Thank you and shalom.
A: "But then there's others who say that Jewish people want the whole world"
I think you'll find that is typical muzzle propaganda.
Golda Meir: We will have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us.

Q: Do Jewish people have a responsibility to build the Temple of God on the Temple Mount?
Wouldn't it be interesting and informative to see how the Jewish people worshipped in the past at the great Temple of God?
A: Yes, and it will be done in one day. If you check, you will see that he parts have been worked on for many years. Work continues even today toward building the parts.
Q: Are jewish people aloud to have sex before marriage?
Are jewish people aloud to have sex before marriage. Im asking because my boyfriend is jewish. And i don't want to insist on something i know he can't do.
A: As with most religions, it's technically not really the way things are supposed to go, but I would say that the Jewish people are generally pretty relaxed about that one. Best bet is probably just to ask.
Q: Why are fundamentalist Christians so obsessed with the well-being of the Jewish people?
I see infomercials of Christian organizations that say Christians should send money to feed poor jews in Eastern Europe or to send them to Israel. I know that Christians should give to the poor regardless of what religion they are. I don't understand why so many Christians are fixated on Jewish people. Is it biblical? Why don't these people just convert to judaism?
A: It's not that they want to "help" poor Jews in Eastern Europe, as much as they want to evangelize them. Allow me to explain:
The New Testament specifically prioritizes Jews for conversion. In the book of Matthew (10:5) when Jesus is instructing his apostles, he warns them: "Go not into the way of the gentiles...but only go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
The Apostle Paul echoes the identical sentiment in the first chapter of the book of Romans when he declares: "Go to the Jew first, then to the Greek (gentile)."
We find a recurrent and unique emphasis on reaching the Jews in the New Testament, especially in the Gospels almost to the exclusion of the gentiles.
This idea also relates to the Church's fascination with eschatology (study of the End of Times).
Fundamentalist Christians are enamored by prophecies surrounding the end of days. They want to know when the Messiah will come.
How will this take place?
At the end of the book of Matthew (23:39) Jesus is quoted making a very important statement. He says:
"I will not return until you say Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord."
Because Jesus was speaking to a Jewish audience at the time he made this statement, Christians have always understood this statement to have one meaning: Jesus will not make his second coming until the Jews are converted.
The Jews, therefore are holding up the show.
Fundamentalist Christians also believe that Jesus is going to make his second coming in or about the year 2000 (counting from Jesus' birth); therefore the Jews must be converted by then, en masse, in order to enable Jesus to return.
(Bear in mind that there remains considerable controversy among Christians as to the year of Jesus' birth. Many Christians -- largely based on Luke's narrative -- place the 2,000th year from Jesus' birth in the year 2007).
Finally, the most significant reason for the church's preoccupation with the Jews stems from the credibility problem that the faith of a Jew presents to Christendom.
Jesus was a Jew and Christians claim that he is the promised Messiah about whom the prophets spoke. The idea of the Messiah -- who will come at the end of days to usher in a Utopian society of love, peace, and the universal knowledge of God -- is exclusively Jewish.
Fundamentalist Christians insist that if the Jews would only look in their own Hebrew scriptures they would find Jesus literally bouncing off every page.
It therefore, stands to reason that the Jews should have been the first to embrace Jesus and his teachings if in fact Jesus was the Messiah. Yet, the Jews were the very people who did not accept Jesus.
This has always been a troubling reality to the Christian Church since inception. It is for this reason that only the conversion of a Jew to Christianity can lend credibility to the church -- never the conversion of the gentile.
Q: Why are Jewish people so well portrayed in the media?
And Muslims are portrayed in a negative light ? Even in Islamic countries ,the Muslim is badly let down--do the Jewish people own the media in Iran ? How else can one explain it? Unless it is because they are their own worst enemy?
You got me!
The Gaza Muslims are paying for their crimes now --their sinful ways of inbreeding has been punished by God of Jews -David Icke --he has turned the wrath of many into an all powerful cluster trouser cough--its happening--dont say it was not warned in the Daily Express supplement.
A: When was the last time you saw a Jew holding a weapon on one hand the the Torah on the other screaming "G-d is great" and blowing up in a crowded public place -
Never!
Q: Is the business world run by mostly Jewish people?
In my company, 4 out of the 6 VPs/Sales Mangers are Jewish. I've also worked for 2 different companies that were owned and run by Jewish people. I went to a business school that was named after a Jewish man. How come it seems like all the Jews run the business world?
P.S. I'm not anti-Semitic by any means. I live in a Jewish neighborhood and I have plenty of Jewish friends (whose parents all own businesses or are living an opulent retirement).
Huh? What's the conspiracy that Kieran is referring to?
A: I really don't care. As long as I get hired and paid.
NO! but when it comes to the media YES It's fact. Jews control 96% of the world's media. Six Jewish Companies own pretty much everything

Q: Why is the number 126 lucky to Jewish people?
I was watching Million Dollar Listing, and Jewish people bought a house and kept adding 126 to the price and they said it was for luck. Why?
A: In Hebrew, each letter also has a numerical value. There's a system called gematria which looks for patterns/similarities in this. So, for example, the word for "life" in Hebrew is composed of two letters whose numerical value is 18. Hence, things like charitable donations, and, in this case, the purchase price of a house are given in multiples of 18 for good luck.
Q: Why do Jewish people not believe that Jesus is the Son of God?
I don't know any Jewish people so I have no one to ask. I am just curious as to the reason.
A: They don't believe that he fulfilled the prophecies about the Messiah.
Q: Why are Jewish people shown most compassion for the Holocaust?
Lots of times throughout history, whole groups of people have been targets of genocide. Jewish people have slaughtered many people in the past as well.
The only things they teach you in school, are what the victors write as history.
A: well... lets see... they were the largest group of people (by far) involved in the Holocaust... The Holocaust is directly linked to Hitler which was our enemy in WWII... I'm trying hard to understand what you don't get about this situation...
Q: What do jewish people do to remember the Holocaust ?
What do Jewish people do to remember the Holocaust ?
A: The Holocaust ended 60 years ago, but to survivors the day remains quite clear and present to them.
Basically, we remember by educating our children and families about what happened. Holocaust survivors try to educate and inform people about what happened. They answer questions in regards to who died in the Holocaust, what happened, how it happened, why it happened, and if it could it happen again.
We attempt to fight ignorance with education and against disbelief with proof.
There is a day in the year, where a special effort is made to commemorate and remember those that have died. The people who fought for what was right, the people who died, and the people who suffered as a result of this event are remembered.
There are also Holocaust Museums open year round to those who would like to learn more information. The largest is the United States Holocaust Museum: http://www.ushmm.org/ if you would like to find information about the subject.

Q: Why are some Jewish people referred to as bagel benders?
I am reading a book review by William Spencer and this was one of the ways he referred to the Jewish people.
A: because they eat bagels...DErogatory..
