Q: Do you think that the spreading of Islamic religion will have a positive effect on our communities?
And what can we as individuals do to stop this infestation from spreading in our neighborhoods?
A: I think Islam like Christianity or Judaism or any other of the Mosaic tradition religions, CAN be a positive effect on communities. However, I think that's entirely up to the community and the practitioners.
So if you have an Imam who preaches that Sha'ria or some variant thereof or militant jihad, is a good thing, you have a serious problem on your hands, since Sha'ria - while theoretically a good idea, history demonstrates that Sha'ria tends towards increasingly intolerant "interpretations" of Islamic law , which are capricious at best, and which tend to form the nucleus of an oppressive theocratic way of thinking which is, not unlike cronism in the secular sphere of thought.
The Christian and Jewish faiths are by no means immune from similar such religious degeneracy.
American evangelical Christianity in particular is significantly polluted with similar hucksters and scam artists. While I personally dislike prostlyising religious practices generally, this is not REALLY my essential problem.
It's the Machiavellian ambition of many of the preachers and "leaders" whom are perfectly content to be hypocritical but whom are more than happy to help themselves to the benefits they would choose to deny others.
One need only see a few minutes of the (formerly) Charismatic Evangelist Robert Tilton, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Tilton#Current_ministry, to understand that this kind of degeneracy is BAD NEWS.
In this way, I see very little difference between Rev. Tilton and the Imam's pronouncing religious justifications for Al Quaeda to use nuclear, biological or chemical weapons in Allah's name.
http://books.google.com/books?id=s9qoSQx-UuoC&pg=PA213&lpg=PA213&dq=Shaykh+Nasir+bin+Hamid+al+Fahd+fatwah&source=bl&ots=mji8CSnzYq&sig=q9U-ciH9sAZGUvjuQOx9vYtzyvQ&hl=en&ei=q6m7Sc_SL42kNc3QgIoB&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=2&ct=result
In this way, the difference is not so much one of kind rather it is one of intent, Rev. Tilton is simply greedy and perfectly willing to manipulate people to that end, Shaykh Nasir bin Hamid al-Fahd is perfectly willing to kill hundreds of thousands of people, rather than simply dupe a similar number out of their money.
This is not to suggest that Christiandom has become some sad parody of a much more dangerous Islam when it comes to the intent and sincerity to cause mass harm to "unbelievers".

And not to be out-done, the Jewish faith is not exactly free from similar concerns.

This then is the rather pathetic situation of our species, underscores how fundamentalism itself is a cancer of our intellectual and religious discourse, and how it endangers a great many people.
Q: Does Judaism and Islamic religion believe that heaven has different levels?
If you could please leave websites that support what you have said. Also if you have any other good website explaining their beliefs on heaven.
Your help is very much appreciated.
Thanks
A: I don't know any websites discussing this, but the idea of heaven having levels is discussed in the Talmud masechta Chagigah. There is states that outside of the courtyard of G-d's abode there are seven levels- each one of increasing holiness. Once it gets to the coutyard it states "beyond this we may not inquire".
So the levels are there, corresponding to increasing spirituality and nearness to G-d.
Q: If you are a follower of the Islamic religion what would you say is the greatest thing it offers to you?
Were you born into a family that followed Islam or did you convert to Islam at a later time in your life? Thx for your responses.
A: you get to wear neat hats
Q: What country is the home of the Islamic Religion?
clues:
*technically an ally of the U.S.
*The U.S. gets the majority of its mid-east oil from it.
A: Islam was created in the city of Mecca, in Saudi Arabia.
Q: Will Iraq ever have true freedom as long as they practice Islamic religion?
Will the American troops prove to have died for their religion which does not allow freedom?
A: The problems of Iraq have little to do with the Islamic religion itself and much more to do with the tribal / cultural differences between groups of Iraqis and the influences of surrounding nations. Islam, as a religion, is no better (and no worse) then Christianity has been when it comes to spreading it's influence and maintaining control of it's followers.
Attributing the blame to Islam for the problems in the Middle East is no different then assigning blame to Christianity for the treatment of Native Americans...South Americans...Aboriginies...Africans...Indians...Asians...etc over the past 500-600 years of European Imperialism. Although Christianity was often used to justify actions and to rally others together, it was straightforward human greed and lust for power that caused those things.
Religion is simply one of the easiest things to point at and say 'that's why they act different then us.' It also doesn't help that most people in the west can't see the distinctions between the religion of Islam and the multitute of social practices and traditions that are part of the Arabic or Middle Eastern culture and just assign the blame to 'Islam'...after all, it's easy. Hell, most Americans don't know there is a difference between the organizations that call themselves 'Al Queda' in Iraq and Osama Bin Laden's Al Queda so why would anyone expect them to draw a distinction between Islamic and Arabic practices?
Q: How come the members of the Islamic religion of peace have not condemned the genocide in Sudan?
Over 1 million non-arab Sudanese have been murdered, and not a peep from CAIR? Pathetic.
But if you suggest that we profile arabs boarding planes and stop the non-sense of checking Aunt Mildred's hair net, and the Muslims squirt falafels out of their butt hole.
A: because infidels don't count as people
Q: Is it against the Islamic religion to have one's photograph or video taken?
I know many Muslims do have their pictures taken, however, I was wondering if there are some Muslims who do not have their pictures taken or prefer to not have their pictures taken for religious reasons.
A: nothing wrong with it i'm muslim i always take photos and videos of me, my friends, family..i luv it!!
(only not for bad things!!..like porn, being drank & stuff like that)

Q: How much did you know about the Islamic religion befor the terroists attacks?
A: A fair amount. My crazy school felt that we should know stuff about other religions and cultures.
Edit:
Now that I think about it, there were terror attacks by radical Muslims long before I was born . . . so really I guess I can't say that I knew anything about Islam before the terrorist attacks.
Q: What is your opinion about the Islamic religion?
Why do Non-Muslims have a problem with this religion?
all Muslims please help convert the entire nation and make them see the light. grow this Ummah bigger and greater
muslims and Non-Muslims please give your opinions and state what religion you are PLEASE
A: if u observe carefully...many non-Muslims are not tolerant and keeps on bashing Islam...

of course, it's Islam
