Q: Any good free non denominational christian education web sites?
A: Messianic Jewish scholar Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum offers free, printable or MP3 Bible studies on a wide range of topics. You can read and/or listen to them here: http://www.ariel.org/dcs.htm
His studies are quite challenging; so if you're looking for studies that REALLY teach you Scriptural concepts (such as the references to the Trinity in the Old Testament), you will enjoy Dr. Fruchtenbaum's teachings.
Q: What are good ways of increasing Christian influence on politics and education?
We live in Godless times. Secularism is creeping into politics and education at an alarming rate. Without good countermeasures, heathens and atheists will overrun the country.
What actions have you taken in your community to combat secularism?
A: What do you mean "Secularism is creeping into politics and education"? In a pluralistic society, it is actually religion that does not belong in either of those arenas and must be removed when it sneaks in.
Have you read the Bill of Rights? The first two clauses of the First Amendment are pretty clear:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of a religion, nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."
Q: I need to find the site for Christian Lights Education Homeschooling?
A: I have never heard of that. However Son Light is a great source. If I homeschool that is what I will use. www.sonlight.com. It has been recommended by several top notch teachers. I've heard of some curriculums not following state guidlines and children getting behind so you have to be careful. A friend of mine taught her child years ago for a couple of years homeschooling. She followed every day to the tee, did what she was supposed to do with him everyday according to the curriculum guidlines. When he went back to public he was really behind in an area and it really affected him. So, I would talk to others ...specifically teachers or those who know what state expects. They can give you a list of what children in certain grades should know upon completion of that grade.
Q: What is the problem in separating Christian education from other departments such as missionsor theological .?
What is the problem in separating Christian education from other departments such as missions or theological studies
A: In the UK, religious studies has been a seperate part of the curriculum for a good while now. It is because there is no proof either way, so letting it effect things that do appear to have proof is counter productive.
Q: Why do Christian Creationists target secondary public education?
Is it to circumvent that religious instruction of America's parents so all our children are taught to believe in Christian Creationism?
A: It's all part of the Discovery Institute's Wedge Strategy. Fortunately, we at the National Center for Science Education stop them in their tracks.
Q: What was the difference between the Christian 're-education' of South America?
and Nazism?
In 1519, Cortés chose Cholula to demonstrate his Christian credentials. He massacred several thousand unarmed members of the Aztec nobility in the central plaza and then burned down much of the city.
"Because of the sin of the first man, the penalty of servitude was inflicted by God on the human race; to those unsuitable for liberty he has mercifully accorded servitude."
– Saint Isidore of Seville"
Estimates of the pre-Colombian population of the Americas vary but possibly stood at 100 million – one fifth of humanity in 1492. Unlike the Hollywood myth, most lived in towns and villages and were not nomadic hunters. Between 1500 and 1600 population of the Americas halved.
'Soldier Of Salvation' - maybe this is the book? If so you can read it here:

(strike that link, it was the Spanish Inquisition, not S/ Americas, sorry can't help)
A: Variations on a sad theme.
Q: why is christian education important to parents?
A: Christianity is a lifestyle, not a club.
Teaching children to make right choices in a world where everything, including themselves, is expendable, is a difficult job.
Christian education is important in that you have to have the strength of character to stand by your morals when the whol world attacks you.
Q: isn't it our responsibility to end the Christian fanaticism and extremism in America through education?
Christian extremism if left unchecked would be worse than Islamic extremism. can we afford letting those fanatics run our lives and impose their version of "morality" on the rest of us? shouldn't we make sure that the new generations are better educated and more civilized then the previous ones?
A: If you will have children of the new generation it's you decision how and what to teach them.

Q: how do you feel about christian education vs public education?
A: I grew up in a public school and against the odds (or stereotypes) I am in college with a 4.0 GPA. This summer I have been working at the Boys and Girls Club summer camp and believe it or not.......my worst behavior problems come from the kids who went to private and christian schools. I say put your kids in public schools, I feel that they get a better grasp of real life there.....besides they are going to be who they are destined to be regardless of there they are educated :o)
Q: How could such a comprehensive Biblical theology of christian education benefit you as a christian education p
How could such a comprehensive Biblical theology of christian education benefit you as a christian education practitioner.
theology
A: It sounds like you are trying to ask a question about a specific "comprehensive biblical theology" book, class, training, or something but you didn't include which book (or whatever) you are talking about.
Q: what would be a brief philosophy of christian education?
A: Generally, Christian education is anchored on the value of love or charity as enunciated in the Bible.
Q: is Accelerated Christian Education a good program ace?
A: Yes, if it's used right.
I was homeschooled with ACE from K-12, and I loved it! It was really easy for my mom to use, since she wasn't very educated and I was able to do most of the work on my own.
My husband was homeschooled with A Beka, and he would tell you that it's way better than ACE, but I really don't know. I've been told that ACE students are "dumber" than A Beka students, but that's just because a lot of ACE students are allowed to cheat when the teacher gets lazy.
Oh, I forgot to mention... I went to an ACE Christian school for the last two years of my education, and I saw a lot of students using the curriculum that never learned anything (because they found ways to cheat). It really all depends on how you use it.
One of the reasons ACE is really good is because each PACE teaches a character trait and a Scripture memory verse. Biblical principles are a major theme in the curriculum, and to me, that's very important.
Q: I'm am looking for a title name for my christian education program for kids?
A: I've heard of Religious Education (Ed) and Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD)
Q: Should Christian fundamentalists be held responsible for the deterioration of education in America?
I think they should be. else they will never realize the damage they're causing to society.
A: Not exclusively, but certainly in large measure.
